The barrier-free models of the Urban Line – 3rd generation are based on the specifications of DIN 18040.
M1³ barrier-free and L1³ barrier-free due to their compact design Door lights and turning surface from the full DIN dimensions, but in practice they can be used for wheelchairs.
The L2³ barrier-free Fully meets the requirements of DIN 18040, including door passage and free turning area.

The Urban M1³ barrier-free is as full-fledged individual workstation designed - with a focus on barrier-oriented use, without departing from the premium standards of the Urban Line (acoustics, technology, design).

What makes the M1³ barrier-free?

Electric door opening & access (Access Control)

DIN 18040 – short & transparent

We deliberately leave “barrier-free” in the title and text because that’s exactly what people are looking for – and because the M1³ is designed to be barrier-free for wheelchair use. At the same time, we are consciously transparent here:

• Door lights (DIN target): at least 90cm
• Door lights (M1³ barrier-free): approx. 82cm (in practice it can be used for wheelchair users; widening it would change the glass and wall structure)
• Turning surface inside (DIN target): Ø 150cm
• Turning area inside (M1³ barrier-free): just under 150 cm (due to design)

If full DIN 18040 conformity is mandatory: Then that is it Urban L2³ barrier-free the appropriate variant (door passage + free turning area according to DIN).
