The SoSilent Urban M1³ barrier-free is more than just a place to retreat – it is a statement for modern, inclusive working environments. As high-quality, barrier-oriented workplace box The 3rd generation makes it possible for people with limited mobility to live completely self-determined and concentrated work in the open-space office.

The focus of the development was the ground level, threshold-free access as well as the Electric door opening via button, which guarantees effortless use with a wheelchair. The M1³ barrier-free consistently combines the highest acoustic standards of the Urban Line with the requirements of modern inclusion concepts.

Whether as a concentrated individual workstation or for confidential video calls: This box offers maximum autonomy without compromise in design, technology or sound insulation.

The most important innovations of the 3rd generation of the Urban Line

Details on barrier-free use

The Urban M1³ barrier-free was developed to break down barriers in everyday office life without the box seeming like a “special solution”. It fits seamlessly into the modern design of the Urban Line.

Barrier-free access & operation

  • Ground level access: No base, no steps – the wheelchair enters the cabin directly at floor level.
  • Electric door opening (button): The door does not have to be opened manually. Simply pressing the button on the outside opens the door automatically.
  • Access control options: Can optionally be combined with password or face scanning systems for protected work areas.

Transparency to DIN 18040

In order to give you maximum planning security, we are transparent about the dimensions:

  • Door lights: approx. 82cm (The M1³ is therefore wheelchair accessible. For the full DIN standard of 90 cm, please select the L2³ barrier-free).
  • Interior: Due to the design, the turning area is just under the required 150 cm, but is optimized for standard wheelchairs.

Soundproofing & Acoustics

Sound insulation (measured according to the latest ISO 23351-1 standard):

  • Plus: 32±3 dB (ISO Class A)
    • Maximum discretion for concentrated work and phone calls.

(Important: The switchable “Smart Glass” option automatically includes the best possible plus sound insulation).
