The Urban L1³ barrier-free is optimized for inclusive work in open space environments. It offers more space and clear movement guidance for the wheelchair and assistance.

Barrier-free access & operation

  • Ground level access: Threshold-free entrance directly at ground level.
  • Electric door opening (button): Convenient opening at the touch of a button – ideal for people with limited mobility.
  • Access control (optional): Support for modern access systems (e.g. facial recognition or electric door locks).

Transparency to DIN 18040

We rely on honest planning security:

  • The L1³ barrier-free is based on DIN 18040 and is in practice fully wheelchair accessible.
  • Due to the construction, there may be slight deviations from the DIN dimensions in the door light or turning surface. For 100% compliance (XL turning surface) we recommend the L2³ barrier-free.

Soundproofing & Acoustics

Sound insulation (measured according to the latest ISO 23351-1 standard):

  • Plus: 32±3 dB (ISO Class A)
    • Maximum discretion for sensitive team conversations.

(Important: The switchable “Smart Glass” option automatically includes the best possible plus sound insulation).
